I use to be highly active in my teens. When I turned to my 20’s I thought life was great and started a family. I ate what I use to but lost track of my workouts. In the first couple of years in my 30’s I started to see a huge change in my body. Pants fit tighter, clothes didn’t look good anymore and I had this thing going over my shorts… LOVE HANDLES! I wanted to get rid of all of that and get back to my teens shape. Well, I would sit and watch the commercials and think, ya I could do that, but would continue to eat my ice cream and lay on the couch. One day my friend Tom re-introduced me to fitness and suggested Insanity. I have a feeling that come the new year, I will be back in my 20’s if not my teens once again!

ShakeologyI started Shakeology after my last visit to the doctors in pain because of a Crohns flairup in September. Crohns is a intestinal disease that is really difficult to deal with at times. After talking to my friend Tom Funk, he suggested I try Shakeology. I figure, shoot what do I have to lose with the 30 day money back guarantee. I tried the Chocolate flavor and the Greenberry flavor and was very suprised in the flavor for a healthy drink. I was so excited to get my shipment in after purchasing it. I also was pretty sad in my shape. My wife and I have been attempting to workout without any success because of time and honestly lack of will. We started to drink Shakeology and was impressed in the immediate energy we gained. It completely cured my flair ups & I took myself off my medication and I haven’t had even 1 episode since starting Shakeology! I’m impressed. Talk about building your confidence.  This is a great start.

InsanityWe decided to take it to the next level and start Insanity. Both of us after work would come home, help with the kids and then pop in the video, push play and have an hour for ourselves. After two months, we feel stronger and look better! When we first started, Jen was unable to do a single pushup. Now she can do a bunch in a row. Our clothes feel looser and we have more energy to play with the kids without any issues. We started our new journey on the first of the new year with P90X2! We can’t wait to continue building our relationship together in this new phase of our life. Oh and did I mention we are making money while doing all of this because we signed up as Beachbody Coaches to help other get healthy & fit? So we are not only getting healthy, but we are making money doing it as well. Sounds like a WIN WIN plan to me!!!!

That’s AWESOME that you were able to take yourself off the medication. You told me in person you had been on it for 5 years? Shakeology is great! I never feel sluggish anymore drinking that and eating healthy! Keep it up Lucas. I’m on phase 2 of P90X2. Each workout is challenging, motivation, and makes you look and feel incredible once you have finished! G.E.T.S.O.M.E.

That is awesome. I know someone who had similar results and is no longer suffering the effects of Crohn’s after Shakeology.

Great story. Keep up the great work. I do know a couple people with Crohn’s and one of them is taking Shakeology but not enough to really help. She bought 1 bag and has had it almost a year. You can lead a horse to water but unless it’s thirsty…

I have Crohns too- at the age of 33, back in Aug I was diagnosed. I had done Insanity and Shakeology for a few years now. But was afraid because of the fiber content it would cause another flare up. Im on Humira now, which is awful. How many shakes did you do a day? What else can you eat etc? THANKS! Im at my wits end! An email would be awesome!
